On The Scene: Vivica Fox, Sean Kingston and Maliah Michel, Evelyn Lozada & Gabrielle Union

Vivica Fox is losing no sleep after she called off her engagement to her fiance Slimm. She was spotted in Philly over the weekend looking fierce in a fitted dress while on a photo shoot for her million dollar wig line.  Vivica Fox Hair has become a very lucrative business venture for Vivica outside of acting gigs.

Guess who was spotted in Houston?  Sean Kingston and his new boo Maliah Michele hit up Houston’s Bambou nightclub to celebrate Maliah’s birthday this past weekend.  Maliah, a popular Houston stripper, was first linked to Drake after appearing in his music video for ‘Find Your Love’.  It looks like Sean Kingston is keeping her pretty happy…

Evelyn Lozada tweeted a photo of her brand new Maserati this past weekend with the caption, “My birthday gift from my luv @ochocinco #Maserati. I’m rolling to South Beach tom! Woop!

Looks like she had a few tricks up her sleeve as to show her appreciation as she later tweeted photos of her working that stripper pole in her house.

Gabrielle Union shined in Coral with black and white Gucci Noah Calf Hair pumps this week as she hit up  A Night of Firsts” event in Hollywood hosted by Instyle.  Those shoes are bad.  Take a closer look

Will And Jada Really Heading For A Divorce This Time?

It looks as though the media is really convinced that Will and Jada’s marriage is officially over, even though they are still making public appearances together.  Although, the two were spotted together at Miami’s Club LIV on December 3rd for David Guetta’s ‘F*ck Me I’m Famous’ party, there are still reports circulating that they no longer spend time together. As a matter of fact, they are said to be sleeping in separate bedrooms and living completely separate lives.

According to Star Magazine, the the power couple is separated and Will spends most of his time in Miami while Jada spends most of her time on the road with the kids.  According to their source:

“Will and Jada are finished after 14 years. They’re still keeping up appearances because they worry divorce could hurt their careers, but there’s no turning back now. It needs to end.  They put up a good front in public, but behind doors they really fight like cats and dogs. They’ve always had issues in their relationship, and now they’re bubbling to the surface.”

The magazine also claims that the couple had reconciled at some point but things began to take a turn for the worst again last month when the two had a huge falling out.

“They’ve been trying to work through it, but things came to a head in early November, when they got into a huge knock-down, drag-out fight. Will feels like he’s living a lie for everyone else, but he knows it needs to end,” explains a source. “They can’t keep pretending.”

This isn’t totally convincing considering that Jada seemed happy working that pole at LIV with Will watching close by a week ago. Meanwhile, if they were to divorce, there’s $520 million estate that they’d have to battle over and of course joint custody of their superstar offsprings.

50 Cent Says Lil Wayne is Turning Into Himself

50 Cent's recent interview with XXL magazine, and inside he made a surprising comparison of himself and Lil Wayne.
When asked about his thoughts on Lil Wayne, Fif responded saying "He's turning into 50 Cent. He's going through that process of being successful, 'til people go, "You know what? Get the f*ck outta here. We don't want you here no more." Because you're successful. ... For me, the music is an artistic choice. I'll say, from the very beginning, that I can care less about a critic or how someone judges me for the actual music. You see, people understand within hip-hop culture that I'm passionate about actually trying to do something different. I want to make a change in a different way. This is about me personally feeling like I wanna mean more after I'm dead, when I'm gone."

Prepare To Freak Out: NASA Has Found A Planet That Probably Has Life On It

Aliens! We’ve found aliens!

A new planet detected orbiting a star 600 light years away could have continents, oceans and life, it was revealed today.

The planet, Kepler-22b, is about twice the size of Earth and may have a surface temperature of around 22C – similar to a warm spring day in the UK.

It is the first so-called “super-Earth” known to lie within the “habitable” zone of a Sun-like star.

Dubbed the “Goldilocks zone”, this is the orbital band where temperatures are just right to allow the existence of surface liquid water.

This means the planet could have continents and oceans just like the Earth. And where there is liquid water, there could also be life.

Scientists believe Kepler-22b may not only be habitable, but possibly even inhabited.

“This discovery supports the growing belief that we live in a universe crowded with life,” said Dr Alan Boss, from the Carnegie Institution in Washington DC, who helped identify the planet from data obtained by the Kepler space telescope.

So there may already be another planet with life on it?! Time to get your tin hats and ray guns ready? Probably not, since they’re hundreds of light years away. It’ll probably be a loooong time before we get any more contact with the planet. But in the meantime, this is pretty freaky info

The Lakers Want Chris Paul AND Dwight Howard This Season

It looks like the Lakers are trying to be the mega team to end all teams this off-season.

Hoping to pull off a pair of blockbuster moves that would rock the NBA, the Lakers are willing to trade anyone on their roster outside of Kobe Bryant to bring Howard and Paul to Los Angeles, two sources said.

Whether the Lakers are able to make it happen remains to be seen, but with stars Pau Gasol, Andrew Bynum and Lamar Odom on the roster, they have the talent and the financial capacity to make the trades work.

The Lakers have had cursory discussions with New Orleans about Paul within the past few days. It is not clear whether they have spoken with Orlando.

So EVERYONE but Kobe is expendable? Even Lamar and Khloe? Imagine Khloe taking her talents to New Orleans or Orlando.

If the Lakers get to pull off this trade, does this make them the team to beat in the NBA? And does that make Knicks fans cry for failing to pull yet another major free agent? Sound off!

Terrence Howard’s Soon-To-Be Ex-Wife Gets A Restraining Order

The messiness between Terrence Howard and his soon-to-be ex-wife Michelle continues.
According to TMZ reports:

Terrence Howard’s estranged wife got a restraining order against the actor this morning — claiming Howard constantly beats her and threatens to kill her … but Terrence says it’s all a big, fat lie.
Michelle Howard filed court documents, obtained by TMZ, claiming Terrence began beating her up just 7 days after they were married in January 2010.
In the docs, Michelle claims Howard “slugged me across my face and neck” … and threatened to throw her off a balcony.
Michelle claims the violence continued throughout their marriage — with Terrence allegedly committing several violent acts, such as
– smacking her in the face and chipping her tooth with his wedding ring
– throwing her down to the ground in a parking lot
– telling her, “I’ll hit a woman quicker than I’d hit a man”
– Saying, “If you tell anyone about my personal business, I will kill you and no one will ever know
– Screaming, “B*tch, walk home. That’s my car, I pay for it.”
Howard also filed legal papers, adamantly denying that he EVER threatened Michelle — but claiming she has been threatening to “release private materials to 3rd parties for her own personal financial gain” unless he paid her money.
Sources connected to the case tell TMZ … the material in question includes a video of Howard singing naked in the shower.

Rumor Control: Did Drake Fire His Management? Birdman Says ‘No’

Did Drake drop his management in the midst of a very successful career?

Plenty of internet reports say ‘Yes’, Birdman says ‘No’.

This morning the internet was on fire about Drizzy Drake cleaning house and firing his agents as well as his management team over at Hip Hop Since 1978 which includes Gee Roberson, Al Branch, Kyambo Joshua and Cortez Bryant (pictured). The reported move had some people scratching their heads since Hip Hop Since 1978 seemed to be doing a good job with managing Drake’s career thus far and have also assisted in catapulting the careers of Kanye West and Lil Wayne. The New York Post reported a source as saying:

Drake just felt like there were too many hands in his pockets. He was getting pulled in too many different directions.” Our source added there was conflict between the rapper’s original management team in Canada and the ones he picked up along the way. “His team from Canada is trying to wrestle back control,” a source said. “He may go back to them to streamline things.

Even though it had been reported by several news sources that he gave most of his team the boot, Cash Money CEO Birdman tweeted a link from Drake’s October’s Very Own (OVO) blog saying that the rumors are false.

“Some blog sites are starting to spread this rumor just for attention.

“The rumor states that Drizzy has fired managers Gee Roberson, Al Branch, Kyambo Joshua and Bryant Cortez of Hip Hop Since 1978. These four managers also manage Lil Wayne, Kanye West, Nicki Minaj. Firing management after getting a number 1 album and 650,000 record sales in a week? THIS IS NOT TRUE”

The quote originally included the name of a blogger that is good friends of the Young Money team as ‘spreading lies’. Confusing.

It’s not rare for an artist to drop their management mid-career but it can either hurt or help depending on the circumstance. Nicki Minaj ditched her manager Deb Antney back in April 2010 and her career rose to new heights. A year later (after a successful #1 album, MAC endorsements and joining two tours), she axed Diddy’s manager Jamie Cruz, however her flourishing career was unaffected by the move. Trey Songz and Keyshia Cole also split with their managers who helped launch their careers after their third albums and now their careers are in the hands of Kevin Liles

Hoopz Picks Up Shaq And Carries Him On Her Back

How in the HELL did she do that?

Last night, Shaq paid a visit to Jimmy Kimmel in an attempt to promote his new book as well as talk about life post-NBA. While there, Jimmy made a few jokes about Shaq’s relationship with Hoopz, and their tremendous difference in size. “It looks to me like you are taking your daughter to Kindergarden. How does this even work?”. Shaq revealed to Jimmy that Hoopz can actually carry him on her back and later brought her out on stage to prove it.

Mind you, Shaq is 7’1, 325lbs and Hoopz only weighs in at around 5’2, 125lbs. Plus, she had on heels. Salute!

Trey Songz Talks Open Relationships, Falling In Love & His Celebrity Crush

R&B heart throb Trey Songz has been very busy lately while dropping two mixtapes, “Anticipation 2” and “LemmeHoldDatBeat2”, plus an EP titled “Inevitable” last month. The Singers Room caught up with Trey in the midst of his busy schedule and chop it up for a moment about his love for women, open relationships and the one celebrity that makes him goofy inside when they come around.

Check the excerpts plus video below:

On Love and whether he wants to be in Love right now
I don’t think love is something anybody should go searching for, cause you bound to find something different. Love is something that could come out of nowhere or love is something that could take forever to find. At this stage in my life, I have people that I love, people that I care about but am I in love? No! Am I searching to be in love? No, not right at this moment! Would I love that in my Life? I think that is a missing part of who I am right now but I don’t think there’s much space for that. So I’m honest with myself and I’m honest with the women in my life.

On if he would consider an open relationship
When I settled down and meet that one I don’t even think that’s a conversation I could have about what her and I understanding would be. That’s based on who she is and what she’s with. We’re about to do everything together baby. We’ll talk about it and if that’s something she’s open to then I might be open to it. If she’s not then we’re not doing it. It’s all about who you fall in love with.

On his celebrity crushes
I got a couple actually. Halle Berry is my main one. She’s still the only person I see and get like nervous, jittery and smile hella hard and goofy. That’s my number one and I think Rihanna is amazing.

T.I & Tiny Dish On Their Sex Life On VH1′s Big Morning Buzz

Rapper T.I. and his wife Tiny visited VH1′s Big Morning Buzz show this morning to promote their upcoming reality show, ‘A Family Hustle’. A few months ago, TI revealed that the couple would be writing a relationship book together, so what better topic to talk about on the show than their relationship? While there, the couple answered some intimate questions about what goes down between the sheets. TI’s face was priceless after Tiny revealed that KANDI hired her a stripper for her baby shower.

Check out the hilarious exchange and video below:

How important is that you shower before you “get busy”?
Tiny: Very important.
T.I: The shower after is more important.
Tiny: You gotta be clean before what comes before the shower
T.I: We cleaned up after and I figured that was more important. That’s wasting water; I’m going GREEN.
Who is Ryder?
Tiny: Ryder is Tip’s playmate. He actually created her; he doesn’t really know that but he brings her out.
T.I: PAUSE. How did that happen?
What does Ryder do that Tiny won’t do?
T.I: 5^th…5^th amendment!!!
Tiny: I get to be there and enjoy everything.
**sidenote: It looks at though Ryder is Tiny’s alter ego during sex**
Tiny, have you experimented with any of the products from Kandi’s “Bedroom Kandi” line?
Tiny: Not yet, but I will. I got to support my home team and it’s also right down my alley. Fun toys. I definitely have to dip into the Bedroom Kandi as soon as possible.
T.I: What alley? Which alley is down exactly?
Did you watch Kandi’s birthday episode with the stripper on “Real Housewives of Atlanta”?
T.I: What station is this?!
Tiny: I did catch the birthday episode.
T.I: (Imitates Kandi mother) “Why would you disrespect me like this?”

Did that episode surprise you as much as it did everybody else?
No, because I’ve known Kandi for a long time. Kandi has always had strippers at her events. She gave me my first baby shower and I had a stripper at my baby shower. One stripper at my first baby shower.
Will you guys be writing a relationship book?
T.I: Yeah, we just have to find time to do it.

They are a trip!
