Steve Harvey had most of his kids on his talk show recently, and it seems everything is all good with his son Wynton...now. Steve's been officially cleared of horrible child abuse allegations. Pics inside...
Remember back in 2011 when all that drama was going down between Steve Harvey and his ex wife Mary, who claimed that Steve was didn't care about their now 16-year-old son Wynton and simply took him (their only child together) from her to spite her?
Well he's finally been cleared of all charges of recent child abuse
allegations from when Wynton was 11. And it seems Wynton is loving
living with dad (based on social media postings).
Apparently, a judge held Mary in contempt and sent her to jail on
Thursday for leaking sealed allegations to media. Y'all know she's
still mad and trying her damndest to get back at Steve for their split
and what went down.
As for the incident ... according to a police report --
obtained by TMZ -- Mary claims Steve got a phone call from the boy's
school informing him his son lied about turning in homework. According
to the kid, Steve hit him with a belt and then a paddle board -- the
kind used for hazing in fraternities. According to the police report ... cops took photos of the boy's
injuries, showing bruises on his buttocks and right thigh, as well as
cuts on his leg. The police report says the boy told cops, the beating
was so brutal he had trouble urinating for days. The matter was then referred to the Texas Dept. of Family and
Protective Services. Steve's rep tells TMZ, the Dept. concluded, "Based
on the information obtained, the child does not appear to be at risk
... the case is closed without further investigation."
Wow. Reportedly, Mary feels it's all a cover up, which may explain
why she leaked allegations to media. The judge was pissed about the
leak and her constant attempts to expose Steve, so he sent her to jail.

Well...Wal-Mart shoppers in Tewksbury, MA got a major shocker while doing some Friday night shopping. Beyonce popped up, grabbed the P.A. system phones to greet shoppers, and handed out gift cards to the whole store!

Who needs Target & Amazon (since both are salty about Bey giving

Bey is sticking to those who are rolling with her--like Wal-Mart--and
doing some fun things to continue promo for her new album. So, Friday
night, Blue's mom
walked into Wal-Mart to cop her own album...and to hand out $50 gift
cards to everyone in the store. Her final total: Over $37,000. Nice!
She grabbed a cart and did some shopping of her own. And looks like she even picked up baby Blue a few things.
She stopped and kissed some babies politician style.
And caused some ruckus at the checkout counter. Gotta love it!

South Africa -- The sign language interpreter used at Tuesday's
memorial service for Nelson Mandela, and whose image was broadcast
around the world as he shared a stage with world leaders including
President Obama, was being called a "fake" by the Deaf Federation of
South Africa.
Bruno Druchen, the national director of the
federation, sent this tweet as the event was taking place at FNB Stadium
on the outskirts of Johannesburg, South Africa:
Wilma Newhoudt, a deaf member of South Africa's parliament, tweeted this:
The
Associated Press also reported the allegation Wednesday, saying that
three sign language experts who watched the broadcast said the man was
not signing in South African or American sign languages.
"It was
horrible, an absolute circus, really really bad," Nicole Du Toit, an
official sign language interpreter, told the AP. "Only he can understand
those gestures."
USA TODAY was not able to independently confirm
the allegations, which if proved true would be an enormous embarrassment
to South African officials at a time when the nation is looking to
celebrate the life and legacy of Nelson Mandela.
South Africa's government said it is preparing a statement.
Collins Chabane, one of South Africa's two presidency ministers, said the government is continuing to investigate the matter.
Many
South Africans were unaware of the sign language controversy Wednesday.
Rachel Kika, 47, a teacher from the northern cape was surpirsed.
"I
would not think the government would put someone there who did not know
what they were doing," she said. "It would be very disappointing. I
hope they got the facts wrong. I don't know how that would happen when
sign language is an official language."
Bronwen Wilson-Thomson, 50, was shocked such a thing would happen.
"It would be sad if true," she said. "It's not like they can't find people who know sign language."
She
said a few years ago, a singer messed up the national anthem by singing
it to a different tune during a cricket match. "I guess if we can have
someone mess up the national anthem, we can have someone mess up the
sign language," she said.
