Chris
Brown suffered from a non-epileptic seizure Friday morning that was
reportedly caused by a great deal of stress after all his legal troubles
and negative headlines in the media.
Brown was at a recording studio in Los Angeles when he had the seizure, but the young singer wasn’t hospitalized.
“While in the studio working early this morning, Chris suffered a non-epileptic seizure (NES),” Browns’ rep told E! News.
“He was not hospitalized. His doctor tended to him this afternoon and
attributes the NES to intense fatigue and extreme emotional stress, both
due to the continued onslaught of unfounded legal matters and the
nonstop negativity.”
According to several reports, emergency personnel responded just a few minutes after 1 a.m. but the “Fine China” singer actually refused to be taken to the hospital.
The seizure happens amid lots of legal drama involving Brown who served 45 minutes in jail after a hit-and-run accident that happened back in May and could be facing even more time behind bars.
In addition to legal problems, the tatted singer has also been dealing with personal drama with his ex-girlfriend Rihanna.
Shortly after the news of his seizure broke, Twitter was filled with
sympathetic tweets asking people to pray for Brown—the hashtag
#PrayForChrisBrown began trending in a matter of minutes.
While Twitter users are showing the star some sympathy, one can only hope that this was just the lesson Breezy needed.
Much of the controversy and negative headlines that involved Chris
were caused by his own actions and his own poor decisions that extend
well beyond his domestic violence incident from back in 2007.
From getting into a huge verbal altercation with the valet to his
childish back-and-forth antics with Rihanna, Brown has had many chances
to redeem himself. Yet it was apparent that his temper wouldn’t allow
him to take any of them.
The latest disappointing moment came when he released album art that
featured a picture of him and Rihanna with a huge red X drawn over their
faces. The image only proved that despite telling interviewers that he
didn’t have any hard feelings towards the Bajan songstress, he was still
being just as childish about the breakup as she was.
Maybe the stress-related seizure will help Brown realize that in
order to do away with the negativity in the press, he needs to stop
giving so much of his time and energy to negative things.
For now, however, the only solution Brown found was to leave the music industry all together.
After serving a short amount of time in jail Breezy took to Twitter to announce that his “X” album may be his last.
“Don’t worry mainstream America,” he tweeted. “After this X album,
it’ll probably be my last album. Being famous is amazing when it’s for
ur music and talent. I’m tired of being famous for a mistake I made when
i was 18. I’m cool & over it!”
The truth, however, is that Brown actually managed to be widely
forgiven for the huge “mistake” he made when he was 18. It’s all the
decisions he made after that incident that have been haunting him.
The tweets declaring his early retirement from the music business
have since been deleted, which has many speculating that he won’t
actually stop making music any time soon.
