Usher’s Brother Arrested For Putting His Hands On His Baby Mama And Child

Usher’s probably not too happy with his little brother.
According to the Fulton County Sheriff Office records, his little bro James Lackey aka J Lack was arrested a few weeks ago and charged for domestic violence, cruelty to children and reckless conduct. According to a tip, he allegedly beat up the mother of his child and the baby. SMH!
James spent a total of two days in jail before he was released on bail of $5,500.
Following in his brother’s footsteps, J Lack entered the music industry a few years ago as a producer signed to EMI Publishing.  His production credits include Lloyd’s ‘Get It Shawty’, One Chance ‘Do It’, as well as a few tracks on Usher’s ‘Here I Stand’ album.

In a recent interview with DJ Whoo Kid, Atlanta rapper Young Jeezy was asked about his beef with Rick Ross.
Unsurprisingly, Da Snowman didn't have much to say about his quite feud with Ricky Rozy, in which he replied, "I don't think there's a conclusion to it, because it was really nothing to me in the beginning."

"I don't need propaganda to sell my records, I never have. I always did my music," Jeezy said.
"When it's album time, people do crazy things. I'm a real one. I don't do beef."
"If there's a problem, let's get into it. Let's get it done. There ain't nothing to talk about."

Dr. Dre Says After 27 Years Of Working On Music He's Taking A Break
Dr. Dre has been cranking out hits and molding careers for 27 years and at the opening of the Beats By Dre store in SoHo, he told The Fader that he would be taking a break.

“These are the next two artists I'm working on, Slim Da Mobster and Kendrick Lamar. I think that's when I'm gonna just wrap it up for a minute because I've been working on music for 27 years now and the longest I've ever been out of the studio in 27 years has been two weeks.”
Dre says he's shocked how well his headphone line is doing and now he wants to be second only to Apple and break into the microphone business.
"I'm never gonna stop music, it's like air to me," says The Doctor. But with no mention of Detox, where does that leave the mythical album?

Jay-z Covers GQ ‘Men Of The Year’: Talks Father, Beyonce’s MTV Announcement & Plans To Change Diapers

Jay-z covers the upcoming issue of GQ Magazine which also happens to be their annual Men Of The Year Issue. Inside, he gets personal as he talks about Beyonce’s decision to announce her pregnancy at the MTV Music Video Awards as well as being scarred by his father. According to Jay, Bey decided to announce she was pregnant because one of the gossip shows or sites was going to release the information and she wanted to take control of the story. He also revealed that he was hurt by his father because they had a connection at one point which was eventually ripped away from him as he grew older.

“It was actually Bey who wanted to [announce] it. You want to be in control of your life.
Jay on his father leaving and how that affected him:
If your dad died before you were born, yeah, it hurts—but it’s not like you had a connection with something that was real. Not to say it’s any better—but to have that connection and then have it ripped away was, like, the worst. My dad was such a good dad that when he left, he left a huge scar. He was my superhero. [I finally talked to him about] what it did to me, what it meant, asked him why. There was no real answer. There was nothing he could say, because there’s no excuse for that. There really isn’t. So there was nothing he could say to satisfy me, except to hear me out. And it was up to me to forgive and let it go.

A month after Jay-z had the conversation, his father died. He is now determined to not only be a financial provider for his child, but to be present in her life.

Providing—that’s not love. Being there—that’s more important. I mean, we see that. We see that with all these rich socialites. They’re crying out for attention; they’re hurting for love. I’m not being judgmental—I’m just making an observation. They’re crying out for the love that maybe they didn’t get at home, and they got everything. All the material things that they need and want. So we know that’s not the key.”
Will Jay be changing diapers?
“Of course, of course. One hundred percent.”

Looks like Jay-z is vying for Father Of The Year awards as well. It’s good that men are realizing it takes more than a monthly check to be a good father.


 

Drake Finally Speaks On Little Brother

Drake Finally Addresses Little Brother Conflict, "That Was My Fault & I Do Apologize To Phonte"
Drake has a habit of giving credit and praise to people who he claims inspired him but in the case of Phonte and Little Brother, they could use a little more than a shout out.
Young Aubrey dedicated his BMI award to Phonte, which is a tad extreme if you ask me. Well it is since he's not on Thank Me Later or Take Care because the guy could use some more exposure since he's been an inspiration.
But anyway, Drizzy explained the situation in the Village Voice.
"With me and Tay, I kinda dropped the ball on a feature he needed me to do, just being 100% honest.
I really wanted to do a record with him, and we actually did do a record for my album, and then something happened with the producer and the beat, and it started getting funny so I had to scrap the record.
And then he was like, 'Well, can you do this feature for me,' and at the time I was trying to find my sound and trying to figure out what this album was going to be about, and I kind of let it slip through the cracks.
That was my fault, and I do apologize to Phonte for that. But I still want to make it happen; I talked to 9th Wonder about trying to make it happen, we'll get it eventually. He knows he's one of the biggest influences on my career."
Phonte loved the dedication but would rather the feature. He told The Source, "That, to me, seems like a more tangible way of showing gratitude. But with that said, I'm still a fan and I think he's an incredibly talented artist. When Take Care drops, he's got my money."

Yesterday, Toni Braxton and her sisters along with their mother made an appearance on The Wendy Williams show to promote the second season of “The Braxton Family Values.” There was a whole lot of Braxton personality on that stage as the sisters talked about Trina’s drinking problems, Tamar’s lighter skin, Towanda’s open relationship with her husband and Mama Braxton wanting to smack the p*ss out of Tamar. Toni also discussed her health, bankruptcy and money issues as well as her personal life. When she was asked if the rumors were true that she dated Terrence J from 106 and Park, Toni gave a pretty blunt answer:

You know that’s not true. I think he’s a cutie but he’s young; he’s 12. He doesn’t have no money. Sorry

I guess you better show some bank statements and come correct if you’re thinking about stepping to Toni B. She has major bills that need to be paid. She also revealed on the show that she’s been playing ‘in the snow’… if you catch my drift.

Ever wonder what it would be like to grow up in T.I. and Tiny’s crib? Well, get ready to find out through your television screen.

Tip and the fam pose adorably in the promo pictures for their new show “T.I. And Tiny: The Family Hustle,” which premieres December 5 at 9 PM EST on VH1. The show will give viewers an inside look at how Tip is readjusting to life as a husband and father of six (King, Domani, Zonique, Messiah, Deyjah, and Major — the modern day, Hip Hop Brady Bunch) while jumping back into his career after his most recent stint in the slammer. Viewers will also get glimpse into T.I. and Tiny’s ride-or-die relationship and be introduced to their daughter Zonique’s singing group, the OMG GIRLZ.
