Chris Brown’s new tattoo is not Rihanna’s face. Nor is it a battered woman.
Earlier today, images of
Breezy’s new ink circulated the internet which caused a debate on what
exactly the tattoo was . The most common response was that Chris had
tatted up Rihanna on his neck, just weeks before the two were spotted
giving each other a hug at the MTV Video Music Awards.
Chris, however, has already nipped that in the bud. According to his
reps, the tattoo is a combination of a sugar skull, associated with the
Mexican celebration of the Day of the Dead, and a MAC cosmetics design
he saw.
The tattoo artist also spoke out in Chris’s defense, verifying that Chris brought him both the MAC and “sugar skull” picture:

His mom, obviously frustrated at reports that it was an ‘abused woman’ tweeted to his fans:
ANGELS PLEASE NEVER BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU HEAR. TAKE A LOOK AROUND AND SEE HOW EVERYONE IS QUICK TO JUDGE, WHEN THEY DONT EVEN KNOW. I LAUGH AT THEM BECAUSE THEY ARE ALL THE SAME. FOLLOW THE LEADER. FOLLOW THE LEADER IS THEIR MOTTO EVEN IF THEY DONT KNOW WHERE THE LEADER IS HEADED. ANGELS NO MATTER WHAT GOD WANTS US TO LOVE IN SPITE OF. I WILL CONTINUE TO FOLLOW HIS COMMANDS AND ONLY HIS.
