**Rumor Control**
Earlier today, we posted that Angela Simmons would be the new co-host of BET’s 106 and Park. That tidbit of information was only partially true.
This afternoon, BET released an official statement acknowledging that Angela Simmons
would only be serving as a guest host of the show for the remainder of
the summer while also confirming that the other three hosts; Paigon,
Miss Mykie and Shorty Da Prince, would not be returning.
106 & PARK” is undergoing exciting changes. Angela Simmons will continue to guest host until the end of the summer. Bow Wow aka “Mr. 106 & Park” will continue as the lead host; Miss. Mykie, Paigion and Shorty Da Prince will no longer remain on the show. BET Networks is happy to have worked with these bright, young stars and will continue to support them and their upcoming endeavors.
