Vivienne Jolie-Pitt will make her first appearance in a feature film opposite her mother, Angelina Jolie.
Jolie-Pitt, 4, will have a small role in the upcoming movie, Maleficent. The film will tell the tale of Sleeping Beauty from the point of view of Maleficent, Sleeping Beauty’s evil enemy.
The
4-year-old will play a younger version of Princess Aurora, which will
be played by Elle Fanning. Walt Disney studios has confirmed the
casting of the live-action movie with multiple sources.
“It’s a
really great script, and I’m having a lot of fun. I’ve already got my
horns fitted,” Jolie told Entertainment Weekly of her role back in
March. “My kids are very happy.”
Vivienne is following in her
mother foot steps breaking into the acting world at an early age. Jolie
appeared in a film for the first time in 1982, when she was only six.
She appeared in Lookin’ to Get Out, a film in which her father,
Jon Voight, starred in and co-wrote. Another Jolie-Pitt has already
been on the big screen. Vivienne bigger sister, Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, had a
small role in Brad Pitt’s 2008 film The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.
Maleficent is slated to hit theaters sometime in March of 2014.
