Kevin
Hart is no doubt the hottest comedian at this time and the funnyman is
adding to his stock by landing the job to host this years’ MTV Video Music Awards.
Last year, the comedian opened the MTV Video Music Awards,
but he wasn’t the official host of the show. While on stage on that
show, he joked that if he was the host he “would’ve dropped one million
dollars from the ceiling and gotten Oprah back on the air.”
This
year is different though, the station official announced that Hart would
be the host. MTV’s change of Hart (play of word) may have come from
the recent success he’s been having since the release of his hit comedy
tour film Laugh at My Pain. The funnyman has also recently worked on several movies including Think Like a Man, The Five-Year Engagement, Valet Guys, End Of The World, and About Last Night.
The
comedian star announced in a video alongside Kim Kardashian and Kanye
West, that he would host the show. Hart tells the pair he’s hosting and
that the paparazzi are trying to get a look at “the new ‘it’ couple,”
even though they would actually be a trio. He says, “I’m talking about
Kev-Ye-Kim.”
