Bow Wow Hit With $126K Tax Lien

Bow Wow's been eating good since he was about five years-old in this Hip-Hop game, so we're pretty sure this a minor oversight. But the YMCMB MC apparently owes the government $126,000.
The huge sum comes from not paying taxes in 2006, 2008 and 2010.  I guess he used the same accountant as his big homey Jermaine Dupri who has  had tax troubles of his own.
TMZ reports that there was a tax lien put on Bow Wow for $91,105.61 in the state of Florida in 2006 that still hasn't been taken care of. An additional  lien was filed in Georgia claiming the rapper owes $15,279.62 for unpaid taxes in 2008 and another $19,700.91  in 2010.
All this adds up to $126,086.14.
I think he better hit Bryan Williams up for some of that Baby Money. After making Billboard's 100 list, we know they can afford it.

Chad Ochocinco Buys Teammates $28K Worth Of Beats By Dre Headphones

Chad Ochocinco copped every one of his New England Patriots teammates Beats By Dre headphones, reports the Boston Herald. This Sunday will mark the wide receiver's first trip to the Super Bowl so he decided to drop about $28,000 to purchase the pricey headphones.
"Thanks ocho.. You the man," tweeted Patriots offensive lineman Nick McDonald, who also took a pic of his gift (see below).
The headphones, the Beats Pro model which cost about $400 each, are definitely a much better look than those Ugg boots Tom Brady outfitted the squad with.

Drake Sidesteps Common Beef, Apologizes To Vanessa Bryant

Although the beef between veteran rapper Common and burgeoning star Drake has hit a lull in media attention, fans shouldn't expect the Canadian heartthrob to fire a return salvo in the direction of his Chicago nemesis. In an exclusive interview with NahRight, Drake chopped down any hopes of a Hip-Hop royal rumble between he and Common.
“No,” answered answered Drizzy when asked if he'll continue the war of words. “Because despite how it's been worded by him that situation is not a ‘Hip-Hop moment' or a ‘battle for the sake of musical integrity – it's a ploy for attention around the release of an album. More than anything it was just disappointing cause what kid isn't a fan of what Common has done for our genre.”
Drake, who gamely responded to Common's initial barbs on “So Sweet” with response on Rick Ross' “Stay Schemin,” is at least seemingly affected, and continued with, “A guy who made such an incredible career for himself based off expressing genuine feelings about life and love is now targeting me for sharing my story.”
One controversial lyric on Drake's “Stay Schemin'” feature was a line framed around the now finalized divorce between NBA superstar Kobe Bryant and ex-wife Vanessa Bryant. The infamous quip, “B*tch, you wasn't with me shootin' in the gym” became an inadvertent highlight and apparently caused Drake some grief.
“That line came from a conversation about being this young and making this much money and the fear of losing it all,” explained Drake. “I just used his potential situation to address my own life. I never intended to offend Vanessa or anyone else.”
Drake said in the interview he's continually working on new tunes while on tour and hopes to make a return to acting.

Rick Ross Is Mentored By Dr. Dre, Calls Producer His "Biggest Hip-Hop Influence"

Maybach Music Group boss Rick Ross and his recent alignment with legendary Hip-Hop producer Dr. Dre had Twitter abuzz after Rozay tweeted a photo of himself alongside the good doctor and DJ Khaled. Although Ross didn't reveal what happened during the gathering, it apparently left quite an impression on the MMG captain.
MTV News' lead correspondent Sway chatted with the Bawse about the secretive meeting over the weekend in Miami, and Ross coolly expressed his joy. “We got the opportunity to just first and foremost touch base like bosses,” said Ross. “We went out, we had dinner, we just discussed ideas and that led to the studio.”
Still remaining vague on the details, the meeting and instruction from Dre has inspired Rozay to approach his craft from a different angle. “The advice he gave me, it's already affected the way I've been in the studio for the last week," shared Ross. "So let's just say he's full of knowledge and he's a solid guy.”
Rozay's fifth solo album God Forgives, I Don't is slated for a 2012 release after being delayed last year. Ross' latest official mixtape currently circulating in the streets is Rich Forever.

Details Emerge About YMCMB Rapper Cory Gunz's Arrest For Gun Possession

More details have emerged in the arrest of YMCMB rapper Cory Gunz, who was nabbed by police on Saturday (January 28) and booked on suspicion of criminal possession of a weapon, according to the NY Post.
MTV News first reported the story on Sunday after receiving confirmation of the arrest via the reality star's father, Peter Gunz. "The details are still sketchy, but I can confirm that he was arrested with a firearm yesterday in the Bronx," said the elder Gunz. "They caught him around 2p.m. in the afternoon with a loaded gun in his knapsack."
Peter Gunz, of “Deja-Vu (Uptown Baby)” fame, is of the opinion that police did not follow proper protocol in the search that led to the discovery of his son's weapon. He says an arresting officer told him that police were tipped off about Cory packing.
According to police, Gunz, government name Peter Cory Pankey, was arrested about a mile away from his Bronx home on Saturday afternoon. They were summoned to the area by a 911 call about two men fighting. The fighters fled the scene before police arrived and officers then canvassed the area surrounding Boyton and Westchester Ave., looking for men who fit the description provided by a witness.
They eventually found Gunz, whom they believed was one of the brawlers, and apprehended him. A search turned up the loaded, 9mm semiautomatic Taurus that is reportedly unlicensed. Police then booked Gunz on suspicion of criminal possession of a weapon.
"This is Cory's first offense," said Gunz. "But sometimes they like to make an example out of rappers and people with any kind of celebrity to them."
After spending the weekend at The Bronx's Central Booking on 161st Street, the younger Gunz was released from custody last night (January 29) after posting $7,500 of his $30,000 bail.
Around midnight, Cory's Twitter account was active for the first time since the arrest as the Young Money MC confirmed his release by tweeting “Home,” before going on to address the situation and apologize to his supporters. “Lock My Body, Kan't Trap My Mind....,” he tweeted, “I apologize to all of my Supporters, Friends and Family. Things Happen, No excuses. My only regret is letting ya'll down... Peace.”
After his release, Gunz
spoke with the New York Daily News about his arrest. "This was a big mistake on my part," Gunz said early Monday morning. "I didn't have any intentions of harming anyone or committing a criminal activity. So many young people look up to me and I need to fight though this."

Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle Inspired By Jay-Z and Kanye To Tour Together

Watch The Throne??? Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle Inspired By Jay-Z and Kanye To Tour Together
Chris Rock wants to hit the road again and Dave Chappelle might be tagging along too! We might have to thank Hov and Ye for this one. Chris recently talked about the potential tour as he stopped at The Sundance Film Festival:
“I’ve been talking to Chappelle a lot. Been trying to get Chappelle to go on tour. You know I’m not the hard one laughing. But I’m trying to make that happen. After seeing Kanye and Jay-Z, I was like, ‘Me and Dave should do this.’ Hell yeah! Rock doesn’t have a name for the tour yet, but he’s probably open to suggestions, right?”
We need this to happen! Will you be checking for this comedy version of Watch The Throne? And how much do you think tickets would go for?

Does LeBron James Want To Go Back To Cleveland?!

lebron
This clown can act like a big baby sometimes. Okay…all the time.
Sources in Miami say that while James still thoroughly enjoys playing alongside fellow stars Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh, he doesn’t particularly care for the heavy-handed and disciplined style of team president Pat Riley.
James can opt out of his contract at the end of the 2013-14 season, and speculation is he will strongly consider it if Riley remains in his current role. And the team James would be eyeballing most in free agency, say those close to the situation, would be the Cavs.
So Bron Bron left Cleveland to win a championship then came back to be miserable later in his career? So why did he leave again? Does he think Dwyane Wade is going to come to Cleveland with him or something? LeBron is looking like a big baby with all this back and forth.
