Kevin Hart Is Headed to ‘SNL’

Kevin Hart Hosts SNL
If laughing at his pain wasn’t enough, watch Kevin Hart as he hosts  Saturday Night Live when it returns to NBC on March 2.
This announcement was made during last night’s episode which was hosted by Christoph Waltz.
Hart will share the stage with musical guest Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, a rapper/producer duo who released a collaboration album “The Heist” last year. The album sold over 78,000 copies during its first week of release.
Currently, Hart created, produced and stars in BET’s Real Husbands of Hollywood. The series is a mockumentary to Bravo’s The Real Housewives of…. In the series, Hart is often joint on his “real” desperately unsuccessful attempts to climb Hollywood’s celebrity social ladder (which always fails in humiliating ways), and the character’s bitter jealousy of his more successful celebrity friends lifestyle. In addition, The first trailer for Hart’s latest film About Last Night was just released, which you can see here.
Kevin Hart will host Saturday Night Live on March 2, 11:30 p.m. on NBC.

Leonardo DiCaprio Takes A Break From Acting To Be A Real Life ‘Captain Planet’

Leonardo DiCaprio recently announced he would be taking a break from acting, perhaps to heal the wounds of another round of Oscar snubs.
The Django Unchained actor gave yet another remarkable performance in Quentin Taratino’s Oscar nominated film, however Academy voters ignored DiCaprio yet again. The Academy also forgot about the legendary actor and his roles in Titanic, Romeo + Juliet, Revolutionary Road, Shutter Island, Gangs of New York, Catch Me If You Can, J. Edgar, and oh yeah, Inception. DiCaprio has been nominated in years past with his roles in What’s Eating Gilbert Grape, The Aviator, and Blood Diamond but has never received a little gold statuette to grace his mantle. There’s no doubt DiCaprio has given his all to some of these roles and deserves a little more recognition. Are the seemingly endless snubs enough to make this actor retire completely? Probably not, but he is going to take a break and save the world for a little while.
I’d join the Planeteers for you, Leo!
DiCaprio doesn’t plan to just sulk in self pity during his acting hiatus, he’s actually on a mission to solve the world’s environmental problems, or as he puts it, “improve the world a bit.” Hollywood.com tells us the actor plans to “fly around the world doing good for the environment.” Sounds suspiciously like a certain blue super hero from the 90′s…
While DiCaprio will be missed in the silver screen, his valiant efforts for the environment  as a modern day Captain Planet  (sans spandex suit and magic rings) won’t go unnoticed. It’s incredibly admirable that the A-list actor isn’t planning on just lounging about on his yacht in the Mediterranean during his much deserved break.
DiCaprio fans don’t fret yet, we still have his performances in The Great Gatsby and The Wolf Of Wall Street to look forward to later this year. I guess we’ll let him have this little break, but only if he promises to come back to acting and earn the Oscar he deserves.

When Rihanna's Away, Chris Brown Will Play... With Karrueche Tran!

While Rihanna was busy launching her new clothing line "River Island," Chris Brown might have been out to play with his boys and one other... Karrueche Tran.

During 2013 NBA All-Star weekend Breezy rented out a sexy mansion and was accompanied by his team. Along with posing for the camera, the crew took pictures of the inside and exterior of the sweet pad.

Check out a few below.

Now, where does Karrueche fit into all of this?

Well, later on she posted this picture to Instagram and later deleted it.

The ceiling in Karrueche's pic looks quite similar to the one in Chris' bedroom pic.

Is Rihanna really condoning a ménage à trois relationship?

Shia LaBeouf Pops Acid To Get Into Role

Shia LaBeouf
Every actor has their way of getting into character for a film, and apparently for Shia LaBeuf, taking hard core drugs isn’t off the table. In his new film Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman,  LaBeouf plays a character who trips on acid. The actor told MTV at the Sundance Film Festival he was so “scared” to play a character who trips on acid because he’d “never done acid before.” So, he decided trying it out for real and filming it would help him conquer his role.
The Lawless actor stated in the interview that he tried the drug because he wanted to “be in that headspace” since his character does acid in the film. LaBeouf even sent the footage to his co-star Evan Rachel Wood and others to get their opinion on his performance.
“So I was sending tapes around. I’d get 50 percent from people, and that starts creeping me out, and I got really nervous,” LaBeouf said.  “…You root for it. You don’t show up wasted. You don’t show up completely tripping on acid. But you’re rooting for something and you’re pushing yourself toward it. Everyone’s got their own way.”
In The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman LaBeouf’s character falls in love with a Hungarian girl named Gabi (Wood), although she is married to a violent crime boss. The movie will also star Harry Potter’s Rupert Grint, Oscar-winner Melissa Leo and Parks and Recreation actress Aubrey Plaza.
This may not be the first time that Shia LaBeouf did the real thing to make a movie appear authentic. It was reported LaBeouf had real sex on set of Lars von Trier’s drama Nymphomaniac, which stars Charlotte Gainsbourg — talk about getting down and dirty with a part.

Has Lil Wayne Taken His Anger Towards The Miami Heat Too Far?

What is going on with Lil Wayne? It seems as though he has a lot of misguided anger pent up inside.
We all know he has major beef with the Miami Heat players for not acknowledging him or dapping him up when he attends their games but now it seems as though his antics have gotten him banned from NBA games. Last week, he was kicked out of American Airlines Arena after a squabble courtside with some Miami Heat fans, and now he claims the the Miami Heat squad made sure he couldn’t attend the NBA All-Star festivities.
While hosting a party last night in Houston, he hopped on the mic and vented his frustrations towards the Miami Heat and NBA but decided to take things way too far when he claimed he slept with Chris Bosh’s wife, Adrienne. He also pegged himself the new Tupac.
The Miami Heat told them to ban me. When I say ‘F–k’, you say ‘NBA’”, “When I say ‘F–k’, you say ‘Miami Heat’”. I ain’t Tupac, I’m the new Pac. It ain’t no twitter beef, take it to the streets. F-ck all of them niggas. F-ck Lebron, F-ck D Wade, F–k Chris Bosh, F-ck all them n-ggas. And I f–ked Chris Bosh’s wife.
Ouch!
I doubt if any of the Heat players will ever respond to Wayne or the immaturity. As a matter of fact, that seems to be pissing him off even more. They haven’t acknowledged his existence or said anything about Lil Wayne since he openly slammed them in a Rolling Stone article.
Them n*ggas never speak to a n*gga. They don’t chuck me the deuce or nothing. N*gga spent all that money on them f*cking tickets… Come holla at me. We sit right by them little b*tch-ass n*ggas. At least come ask me why I’m not rooting for you.”

Lebron has dapped up Wayne at some point…

Celebrities At The NBA All-Star Game

Beyonce’s face was everything last night as Drake put on his waiter hat and served The Carters drinks during the NBA All-Star game.  What a nice gesture!

Selita Ebanks & Terrence J Call It Quits

Is looks as though it’s lights out for Terrence J and Selita Ebanks.
The couple, who has been dating for two years, recently decided to part ways shortly after Terrence snagged a position at the E! News anchor desk.   According to sources, his new job and acting gigs paired with Selita Ebanks current projects have caused scheduling conflicts and a rift in their relationship.
Now, that she’s moved on from Terrence and Victoria’s Secret Angels, Selita is currently filming a TV pilot and working on a single that is set to drop sometime soon. She also just spent two days celebrating her 30th birthday with a camera crew in tow, which followed her around at two separate swanky parties:
On Sunday, the former Victoria’s Secret Angel had dinner with five friends at the One Group’s Asellina, with David Spade and Kevin Farley stopping in for dessert and to give a toast. Later that night, she was seen partying with girlfriends until 3 a.m. at SL. “Selita was dancing on the banquette at her table and garnering glances from many in the room,” says a spy. On Saturday, Ebanks had another blowout b-day party, with cameras rolling, at Bagatelle. We’re told Spade — who was flirting with Ebanks — stopped by again, as well as Trey Songz, who serenaded her over a birthday cake.

Wale Confronts An NBA Commentator At Wizards Game For Talking Slick

This is definitely not the best week for rappers when it comes to the NBA.
Last night, Wale found himself in some drama while catching a Washington Wizards vs. Toronto Raptors game at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C. It all allegedly started when Wale began trash-talking Raptors forward Rudy Gay from his court side seat which lead to some slick comments from play-by-play commentator Matt Devlin. He started going in on Wale by calling him a “local rapper” and saying things like, “A fan is heckling him, he’s a local rapper. WA-LAY. Maybe someone on twitter can let me know if they ever heard of Wale. He’s not Drake, that’s for sure.”
Wale heard about the insults and not only tweeted Devlin, “Shut Your Mouth” but proceeded to the commentator booth to approach the guy. Afterwards, Wale tweeted:
On the Internet when u defend urself ur criticized for being less of a man. There’s NO honor in defending yourself,or your name.
Somebody call u out your name . And you confront them . YOU wrong . So who u cheerin for the people who take insults in stride? Since when

New Video: Justin Timberlake ft. Jay-Z – Suit & Tie

JT is bringing back that black and white classic film feel in his new video “Suit & Tie” featuring Jay-Z. In the visual, directed by David Fincher, the fellas are taking it back to the days when grown folks got dressed up in their Sunday’s best just to hang around the house all day while drinking cocktails and puffing on cigars with their friends. The guys also play vintage versions of themselves as they take their act to the stage of an old school night club.
Even though it’s been a minute since JT has brought new tunes to the scene, he’s definitely attempting to prove to these young bucks that his vocals and dance skills are still forces to be reckoned with, not to mention his style.

Nicki Minaj Shows Off Her Assets In Hawaii

Zaammnn! I feel a Mariah Carey eye-roll coming along…
Nicki Minaj was generous enough to drop off an eyeful of a$$ for the fellas this Valentine’s Day while on the set of the music video for her new single, “Freaks”, with French Montana. The photo, posted on Twitter by Nicki Minaj, was accompanied by the caption:
Happy #VagDay boyz… #JerkResponsibly
Although “Freaks” has a super busy beat, it has club-banger potential. The track, produced by Rico Love, samples dancehall classics like “Freaks” by Lil Vicious and Doug E. Fresh as well as Chaka Demus & Pliers’ “Murder She Wrote.”

‘The Best Man’ Gets A Christmas Sequel

For most of us, ‘The Best Man’ easily falls in the Top 10 movies that features an all-African American cast over the past 15-20 years.  The romantic comedy centers around four college friends (Morris Chestnut, Terrence Howard, Taye Diggs and Harold Perrineau) that are reunited for a wedding, however, a few secrets among the friends almost have a disastrous effect on the wedding.
Although it’s been 13 years, since the movie’s release, the sequel has been green-lit for production in April.  Finally!   During an interview with Urban Daily, actress Nia Long, who played the fiesty, career-woman “Jordan”, spilled the tea:
Well, I’m getting ready to play Jordan Armstrong again. I start shooting the sequel to “The Best Man” soon. The working title is “The Best Man Christmas” it might change though. We start that in April so I’m excited to relive Jordan. She’s very feisty, very organized, and knows what she wants. She’s all about business. But I think you’re going to see her find her heart in the sequel. That’s her big challenge.
Nia also revealed that her all-time favorite character to play was Nina Mosley in the 1997 film, “Love Jones”:
My all-time favorite is “Love Jones.” I have a special place in my heart for that film. It is visually beautiful and the story is amazing. You saw two black people finding love, being in love, and losing love in a way that was urban with an edge. But the story is so universal.
It’s kind of dope to see them bring some of those urban classics back. Hopefully, the sequel is just as good as the first one.

Beyonce, Jay-Z & Celeb Friends Attend The Premiere Of ‘Life Is But A Dream’

Beyonce had her family and celeb friends on deck last night as she attended the premiere of her HBO documentary, Life Is But A Dream in New York City.   She arrived to the premiere in a gold Elie Saab dress with Jay-Z by her side and later sat down with Oprah for a Q&A which will be shown on a portion of OWN’s Next Chapter with Beyonce this coming Saturday.
While on the red carpet, Baddie Bey explained why it was necessary for her to get more personal with her fans through this documentary:
I felt like it was time. I felt like after 16 years of being a singer, people didn’t know who I was, which was conscious because I feel like mystique is very important and I will always keep certain things to myself because it’s only natural.  I felt like I had a story to tell and hopefully some people to inspire. This movie has been like therapy and I’ve healed so many wounds and I now understand some of the things I went through and why I went through them.
I hope that Blue Ivy will see all of the beautiful times, all of the tough times that led up to her being here and I’m hoping that she will always have it and it will comfort her in her life when she needs it.
Other celebs spotted at the event included Oprah, Tyson Beckford, June Ambrose, Questlove, Solange, Cynthia Bailey, The-Dream, Selita Ebanks, Angela Simmons, Chris Rock and more.
Catch a few pics and footage of Bey jamming at the after party below:

Solange arrived in all white and was DJ for the night at the after party.
Mama Tina also graced the red carpet.

Last night, Ricky Rozay’s girl Shateria Moragne-El got glammed up in all white as she debuted the new Fall 2013 collection for her FRONTROW clothing line during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York City.   According to Shateria, who worked as a personal stylist and consultant before branching into apparel, FRONTROW is an innovative luxe brand, meant for fashion lovers and leaders –the confident, gracious and faithful.

Wale: ‘I Didn’t Like Kelly Clarkson’s Back-Handed Comments To Miguel’

Rapper Wale is not here for Kelly Clarkson’s comment towards Miguel at the Grammys.
Although Miguel’s “Adorn” record was one of the biggest R&B songs on the radio last year, there are still a lot of people who don’t know who he is just yet, so his performance with Wiz Khalifa at the Grammys was a nice little introduction for a few folks that are out of the loop.
Season One American Idol winner, Kelly Clarkson, was definitely impressed and gave him a shout out while accepting her award for Best Pop Vocal album. She said,
“Miguel, I don’t know who the hell you are, but we need to sing together. I mean, good God. That was the sexiest damn thing I’ve ever seen.”
Although some artists like Pink thought that Kelly’s comment was funny and cute, others, like Wale didn’t think it was funny at all. Wale, who worked with Miguel on “Lotus Flower Bomb,” told MTV after the show:
“I didn’t like the Kelly Clarkson back-handed comments to Miguel. I didn’t like that at all. I just feel like our urban music is belittled, a little bit. Not trying to offend nobody on the committee, but for a record as big as ‘Adorn,’ and it to not be presented as a real performance onstage; it was almost like a segue to an award. Again, I don’t want to offend anybody on the committee, but that wasn’t a very good representation of our music because ‘Adorn’ is gonna be around for the next 30 years.”
Meanwhile, Miguel didn’t seem to take offense. He met up with her backstage and posed for a pic that she posted on her Instagram with the caption, “Miguel!”
Kelly’s little shout out probably put even more people on to Miguel but Wale is right about Miguel’s performance.  It was extremely short.
Catch Kelly’s shout out below:
