In a growing all-star cast, Meagan Good, Terrence J and Lala are the latest additions to the forthcoming flick ‘Think Like a Man’, the film adaptation of Steve Harvey’s book, ‘Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man.’
The movie centers around four friends whose lives are interconnected. The women in their lives purchase Steve Harvey’s book and starts taking the advice he gives in his pages, which leaves the friends love lives jolted and shaken up. When the band of brothers find out that they have been betrayed by one of their own, they conspire to use the book’s teachings to turn the tables.
Other cast members already confirmed are Michael Ealy, Jerry Ferrara, Regina Hall, Kevin Hart, Taraji P. Henson, Romany Malco, Gary Owen, Gabrielle Union, and Arielle Kebbel, and is set to be released on April 6, 2012. Production for the film has already begun, and producer Will Packer (Stomp the Yard, Obsessed, Takers) spoke about the comedy-drama, saying:
“Steve Harvey has established himself as one of the funniest and most insightful voices in America. That coupled with an incredible cast makes this an exciting venture.”
In other news, VH1′s scripted series ‘Single Ladies’ starring Stacey Dash and LisaRaye McCoy has been picked up for a second season. Queen Latifah, the show’s creator, spoke about her excited over the series’ success, saying:
“My partner Shakim and I are so excited that ‘Single Ladies’ has been received so well. We knew from the beginning this show was going to appeal to people everywhere; it’s funny, sexy and smart. We are so happy that we were able to join with VH1 to find such a great home for this incredible show.”
The ‘Single Ladies’ season finale airs Monday, August 8, and the second season will reportedly begin filming later on this year.
