Condoleezza Rice Will Endorse Mitt Romney In Presidential Election

Condoleezza Rice has chosen who she will endorse in 2012 election, and it's not President Obama. The former secretary of state will announce her support of Republican presidential hopeful, Mitt Romney later today.
CBS reporter Sara Boxer tweeted the news Wednesday (May 30). “CBS confirms Condoleezza Rice will endorse @mittromney tonight at fundraiser in CA,” she wrote.
Support from Rice may be the endorsement that the 65-year-old needs to help him grab the black Republican vote. While they have been less vocal than Democrats, at least one Republican student is doing his part to make sure that Romney gets black votes. Jason Cruger, a student at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, launched his “African Americans for Mitt Romney,” Facebook page in January in an attempt to garner black votes.
With his re-election campaign heading into a pivotal point, Obama is nothing short of a fundraising machine. Throughout his political career, the POTUS has brought in over $1 billion in campaign funds, and is expected to help turn the 2012 election into the most expensive race in history.
