Female Baltimore Bus Driver Suspended After Fight With Student That Was Caught On Tape [Video]

Next time you step on a public bus you might want to guard your grill. Bus drivers are starting to knuckle up with passengers and are paying for it with their jobs.

A female Baltimore bus driver has been suspended by the Maryland Transit Administration pending a police investigation into a fight between her and a young female student on Monday according to the Baltimore Sun.

Of course the incident was caught on tape and has since gone viral. The footage of the fight lasts just under two minutes. The driver and the female passenger can be seen wrestling, with the passenger occasionally throwing punches.

There's dialogue between the two, but it's hard to make out exactly what is being said.

A passenger can be heard telling the bus driver that she is in the wrong.

"You dead wrong, let that girl go," the passenger says.

The bus driver later says the passenger was being disrespectful. There have been various reports stating that the fight started because the passenger was playing her music too loud.

Terry Owens, the MTA spokesman, said the bus driver has worked for the MTA since 2003.

Owens said the police have interviewed both the student and the driver and are still investigating the case.

"Police will review the YouTube video. They are also pulling the video from the bus to see if it provides a more thorough picture of what happened," Owens said.

This latest altercation follows on the heels of Cleveland bus driver Artis Hughes being fired for viciously uppercut punching female passenger Shi' Dea Lane on September 18th.

The names of the bus driver and passenger in the Baltimore incident have not yet been released.
