Simon Cowell Loves Nicki Minaj, Plus Is A Beyonce Collab In The Works?

Is she or isn’t she? Has been the question on people’s minds regarding whether or not rapper Nicki Minaj will join Simon Cowell’s X Factor as a panel judge. With the media buzzing over this story all week, Simon spoke with XXLMag.com and gave them the skinny on whether or not she will join forces with him:

“We spoke to Nicki actually about a lot of projects. It wasn’t specifically about this, but we were just very interested to meet her. I’m a big fan of hers. So I don’t know if it’s gonna be this show or something in the future, but it was definitely somebody I wanted to meet.”
“Off her own back she’s had a phenomenal year last year and she’s gonna have a phenomenal year this year. She’s very smart, very influential, very bright and along with artists like Jessie J. You can’t ignore them and sooner or later they have to be in our world and we have to be in their world.”

Who knew the former American Idol judge was a ‘Ken’? Nicki said the future of her brand was going to include fashion, cosmetics, and television, so what better way to capture a broader audience than to be a featured judge for Simon Cowell?
