
Rapper
 LL Cool J may be an actor, but he can definitely back up those “Mama 
Said Knock You Out” rap lyrics with some action. The NCIS: Los Angeles
 star, who was born James Todd Smith, got into a violent scuffle with an
 intruder who broke into his home early Wednesday morning.
According
 to the Los Angeles Times, LL Cool J was sleeping upstairs in his Studio
 City, Calif. home when he heard noises and commotion downstairs in the 
kitchen. He went to investigate the cause and ended up in a fist fight 
with a man who had broken in.
LL, who sometimes trains at the same
 MMA gym as Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson and Jon Jones, reportedly took 
down the suspect with a blow to the jaw. He was able to hold down the 
burglar until police arrived on the scene. Police said no one besides 
the intruder was hurt, and nothing was stolen from the home.
Now that’s how you hold down the fort LL!

 rep for the actor/rapper said “LL Cool J and his family are safe and 
thank everyone for their thoughts and concern. As a father, husband and 
citizen, he is committed to keeping his family safe and is cooperating 
with authorities on this private matter.”
