Kevin Hart May Join Paula Patton In ‘Baggage Claim’

It seems like nowadays when directors are looking to add a little comedy to a film they are all turning to Kevin Hart to foot the bill. Writer/director David E. Talbert has recently put out an offer to the comedic actor and Terence Howard to join the cast of Baggage Claim.
Baggage Claim, which already has Derek Luke and Octavia Spencer signed on, is based on Talbert’s successful novel centered around a flight attendant with thirty days and thirty thousand miles to find a husband.
Paula Patton will play the 35 year old flight attendant, who is the oldest unmarried woman in her family. After her little sister gets engaged, the hard worker realizes that she is the only one in her family who has yet tied the knot. Subsequently, she becomes determined to find a man in 30 days. Luke will play her close friend and neighbor and Hart, Howard and Spencer’s roles are unknown at this time.
Amazon describes Talbert’s novel as such:
Pledging to keep herself from being the oldest and the only woman in her entire family never to wed, Montana embarks on a thirty-day, thirty-thousand-mile expedition to charm a potential suitor into becoming her fiancé. Whom will she choose? Damon Diesel, a P. Diddy wannabe; Reverend Curtis P. Merewether, pastor of Greater House of Deliverance, Tabernacle of Praise, Worship, and Miracles; pompous attorney-turned-councilman Langston Jefferson Battle III; or Quinton Jamison, a multimillionaire who’s twenty years her senior?
Baggage Claim is slated to start shooting later this month.
