Kerry Washington is married. The Scandal actress reportedly married San Francisco 49ers cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha in a secret ceremony on June 24 in Hailey, Idaho.
Details are scarce, but according to USA Today, “The marriage certificate states that Washington’s mother Valerie and father Earl served as witnesses at the private ceremony.”
This is the first marriage for Kerry who was previously engaged to
David Moscow for three years before the pair broke things off in 2007.
Kerry, who can swing with the best of them in the political arena may have found her match in Nnamdi. Eonline stated:
“Like his bride, Asomugha is also a dedicated activist and
philanthropist and he has participated in the Clinton Global Initiative
every year since 2009.”
